Guangdong Guangqing Metal Technology Co., Ltd. is a joint venture established by Guangdong Guangxin Holding Group, a large state-owned enterprise among China's Top 500, and Tsingshan Holding Group, a private enterprise among the Top 500, and is one of the largest nickel alloy producers in China with advanced process technology. The company is located in Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, known as 'China's Best Eco-Tourism City' and 'Hometown of Chinese Kites'. The nickel alloy production project is situated in the Port Industrial Park of the Yangjiang High-tech Industrial Development Zone, which faces Hailing Island, renowned for its 'Ten-Mile Silver Beach'. The project covers an area of approximately 3,000 mu with a total investment of 1.655 billion RMB. The company adopts internationally advanced rotary kiln-electric furnace (RKEF) technology for smelting laterite nickel ore. The initial construction phase has an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of metallic nickel alloy, with an output value of approximately 10 billion RMB. The project will progressively develop the downstream industrial chain, and upon full production, the output value will reach 30 billion RMB, becoming a highly competitive enterprise with a complete industrial chain and integrated industry, trade, and technology. Currently, the company is in the full construction stage, and the project has been listed in the Guangdong Province Modern Industry Top 500 Projects, the Third Batch of Guangdong Province Projects to Expand Domestic Demand, and the Guangdong Province Key Construction Projects for 2010.
