CCIC-Auto Inspection Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Company or CCIC-Auto) is a national-level, and currently the only, third-party professional motor vehicle inspection institution under the "China" brand, established by China Certification & Inspection Group (CCIC) in response to the State Administration for Market Regulation's need to standardize the management of the domestic motor vehicle inspection industry, serving the national automotive industry in testing, inspection, appraisal, and certification. The Company has a registered capital of 100 million RMB, fully paid-in, and is the specialized platform of the central state-owned enterprise shareholder—China CCIC—in the field of motor vehicle inspection. China Certification & Inspection (Group) Co., Ltd. (English abbreviation: CCIC) is a multinational inspection and certification institution restructured and reorganized on the basis of the former China National Import and Export Commodities Inspection Corporation, approved by the State Council of China, and accredited by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China. It is also the only large-scale multinational inspection and certification institution in China to date bearing the "China" prefix and focusing on "inspection, appraisal, certification, and testing." It has approximately 300 institutions and 200 cooperative laboratories worldwide, with an operational network covering more than 20 countries and regions, spanning important ports, cities, and cargo distribution centers globally. CCIC-Auto is headquartered in Shenzhen, with 3 vehicle import port inspection centers and 15 operating subsidiaries. September 2025, Chengdu CCIC Chengyi Vehicle Inspection Co., Ltd. was established. July 31, 2015, CCIC Group (Shenzhen) Vehicle Appraisal and Evaluation Co., Ltd. became the winning bidder for the appraisal and evaluation of official vehicle disposal for provincial-level units in Guangdong Province; May 19, 2017, CCIC Group (Shenzhen) Vehicle Appraisal and Evaluation Co., Ltd. became a technical support institution for the quality consumption ecosystem of the Shenzhen Consumer Council and the Institute of Quality Consumption Research.
