Jidong Development

Jidong Development Group is a second-tier enterprise of Beijing Jinyu Group. Its predecessor, Hebei Jidong Cement Group Co., Ltd., was a wholly state-owned company established in September 1996 upon the approval of the Hebei Provincial People's Government, based on Hebei Jidong Cement Plant, and organized in accordance with the modern enterprise system, with its origins dating back to 1979. Since the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Jidong Development Group has adhered to the general principle of "seeking progress while maintaining stability," implemented the strategic concept of "four developments," practiced Jinyu's entrepreneurship culture, earnestly fulfilled the requirements of "one high, two wins, and three overall plans," and firmly upheld the development positioning of "building a comprehensive service provider for intelligent system integration in the building materials and metallurgy industries," courageously leading the way in the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The history of Jidong Development Group's century-old equipment manufacturing can be traced back to 1910, when it shouldered the historical mission of revitalizing national equipment manufacturing, leading the direction of China's cement production line main equipment manufacturing, and advancing China's building materials equipment industry from nonexistence to existence and from weakness to strength. Currently, Jidong Development Group owns one listed company, one national postdoctoral research workstation, one national enterprise technology center, one national industrial design center, 13 national high-tech enterprises, one national prefabricated building industry base, three national "little giant" enterprises specializing in new technologies, and six provincial enterprise technology centers. Its main business covers the manufacturing of heavy machinery and complete equipment for mining and building materials industries, manufacturing of electrical equipment and automation equipment and complete system integration, complete equipment manufacturing for ironmaking systems in the metallurgical industry, precision manufacturing of metal components, bulk commodity trading, industrial and civil building installation and construction, equipment maintenance, steel structure manufacturing, manufacturing of new refractory materials, cement process design, mining engineering, manufacturing of rod-shaped post insulators, and manufacturing of high-frequency welded rectangular and square tubes. The company has been successively awarded the fourth, fifth, and sixth National Civilized Unit, the National May Day Labor Award, the National Outstanding Enterprise (Golden Horse Award), the National Advanced Collective in the Building Materials System, the National Advanced Unit for Resource Utilization, and the Excellent Enterprise for Quality Management in China's Building Materials System.
