县委、县政府高度重视残疾人事业发展。于2004年8月投入资金90万元创办残疾人康复中心。该中心占地面积4800平方米，有一幢二层楼房。为残疾人康复训练构建平台，提供良好的服务条件，于2005年成立智力残疾儿童康复机构，开始收训智障儿童，2007年先后增设肢体、听力残疾儿童康复机构，是肇庆市县级*实施多项的综合性康复机构。今年并获得县机构编制，人员经费由县财政供给。

由于康复中心业务发展需要，现招聘康复治疗师4名，待遇面谈。
