Chongqing Fuling Innovation Computer School

The school is located in Fuling, in the hinterland of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area, at the confluence of the Yangtze River and Wujiang River, adjacent to Area A of Yangtze Normal University, about 2 kilometers from Fuling urban area. Our school is a key secondary vocational school at the Chongqing municipal level. The school currently owns a campus area of 32,107.5 m2, including 11,730 m2 of green space, 8,517 m2 of sports fields, and 22,788 m2 of building area. There are 159 faculty and staff members, 105 full-time teachers, 19 part-time externally hired teachers, 21 double-qualified teachers, and 40 with intermediate professional titles. Backbone teachers and academic leaders account for 15% of the total number of teachers. The school offers key majors such as Computer Application, Software and Information Service, Electronic Technology Application, Electronic and Electrical Appliance Application Technology, and Clothing Design and Craftsmanship. The total value of the school's teaching equipment is more than 4 million yuan, including 10 multimedia classrooms, 466 computers, electronic and electrical appliance practice rooms, home appliance practice rooms, complete sets of clothing production equipment, and traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation practice rooms. The rate of opening experiments and practice sessions reaches 98%. There are 85,250 printed books of various types, with professional books accounting for 22%, 52 kinds of newspapers and periodicals, and 15,000 e-books. The school actively adapts to the needs of local economic and social development and carries out various forms of long-term and short-term training for society. The school-running benefits have continued to improve. In 2010, 1,219 students were enrolled; in 2011, 1,078 students were enrolled; and in 2012, 1,040 students were enrolled. In the past two years, a total of 3,708 person-times of personnel at all levels and of all types have been trained, with an average annual training number of 1,854 people. Each year, the school sends more than 20 people to participate in * and municipal-level training. At present, all faculty and staff of the school are working hard to build our school into a distinctive secondary vocational school.
