School Introduction: Guangdong Provincial Environmental Protection Technical School, formerly known as Baiyun Teaching Area of Guangdong Provincial Senior Technical School, was officially renamed to its current name in 2009. It is a provincial key private technical college and also the only technical college in our province dedicated to cultivating skilled talents in the environmental protection industry. In February 2022, the school successfully passed the evaluation of Guangdong Provincial Key Technical Schools; in August of the same year, it was selected as a first-stage construction institution for the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security's work-integrated learning program, with the Environmental Protection and Testing major as a first-stage construction major. In February 2023, the Environmental Protection and Testing major was rated as a provincial key major; in April of the same year, the school was honored to be included in the list of units for the creation of Guangdong Provincial Demonstration Technical Schools. In 2025, two majors of the school, New Energy Vehicle Testing and Maintenance, and E-commerce, were selected into the third-stage construction major list of the national work-integrated learning program for technical colleges.
