About the Company

北京首钢吉泰安新材料有限公司前身是北京钢丝厂，成立于1956年。在中苏关系紧张，国内电热合金材料紧缺的情况下与北京钢铁学院合作，开发电热合金材料，填补了国内空白，为新中国工业发展做出了重要贡献。1980年中国向太平洋发射运载火箭，使用了北京钢丝厂研究开发的精密合金等几种材料，为中国“两弹一星”工程做出了特殊贡献，多次收到了国务院及科工委的贺电，朱德委员长到厂视察时将北京钢丝厂原址所在的海淀区那条路命名为“增光路”（载入百度百科）。
