Founded in 1996, BLG Top Bio Group is a biotechnology enterprise specialized in the research and development, production, and sales of hydrophilic colloids. The plant polysaccharide series products mainly include carrageenan, konjac gum, agar, and their compound products. The fermented polysaccharide series products mainly include xanthan gum, gellan gum, curdlan gum, TGase, and their compound products. It owns four factories located in Fengxian District, Shanghai; Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province; Wuzhong City, Ningxia; and South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia.
BLG's carrageenan and agar factories use high-quality seaweed from clean sea areas in the Philippines and Indonesia, and produce products of excellent quality through advanced processing technology and perfect extraction techniques; the product quality fully meets national standards, EU standards, and other domestic and international standards. In 2021, BLG invested in a new colloid factory covering nearly 500 mu in Wuzhong City, Ningxia, fully enriching the product line and coverage, establishing BLG as the "industry aircraft carrier" in the global professional hydrophilic colloid field. This factory will become an important production base in the global hydrophilic colloid industry, helping BLG become a leading enterprise in global market segments.
