Mei Da Industrial Co., Ltd. (Taiwan) invested in the establishment of Tianjin New Wei San Industrial Co., Ltd. (TIANJIN NEW WEI SAN INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD.), abbreviated as NWS, in December 1995, and production commenced in March 1998. The registered capital was US$20,000,000, with an actual investment of US$60,000,000. In March 2006, it invested in the establishment of Tianjin Daxiang Precision Industrial Co., Ltd. (DASHIANG PRECISION INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD.), abbreviated as DSP, with a registered capital of US$10,000,000 and an actual investment of US$30,000,000. In August 2007, NWS and DSP respectively increased their capital, reaching actual investments of US$120,000,000 and US$110,000,000. To date, the two companies occupy a total area of 354,000 square meters and employ more than 4,600 people. It is expected that by the end of 2010, the factory invested in India will commence production.

The company collaborates with world-renowned automotive manufacturers, including Honeywell, BorgWarner, Holset, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Cummins Power, Perkins Power, Ford, Caterpillar, and Peugeot. The company has been rated among Tianjin's top 50 exporters for several consecutive years and has been awarded medals by Ford, Mitsubishi, Holset, Caterpillar, Cummins, Honeywell, Komatsu, and Eaton for "Q1, Best Supplier, Best Quality, and Outstanding Contribution."

NWS/DSP are large-scale foundry and machining professional production companies, equipped with the most advanced production equipment in the world, such as: In casting: low-frequency melting furnaces, high-frequency melting furnaces, cupola furnaces, horizontal molding lines including SFBM-4 (600700×250/250mm), TOKYU AMF III (600700250/250mm), SFCMX III (600700250/250mm). Vertical molding lines include DISA-230X (750X535X120/405mm); in machining: 205 vertical machining centers (2 pallets APC); 213 general vertical machining centers, 150 horizontal CNC lathes, and 143 vertical CNC lathes.
