广西金嗓子集团是全国制药行业的优秀科技型企业。该公司原为柳州市糖果二厂，始建于1956年3月6日。为适应市场的需要。以江佩珍董事长为首的领导班子，自筹资金780多万元对企业进行技术改造，筹建制药厂。经广西壮族自治区卫生厅、广西壮族自治区药品监督管理局验收合格，于1994年12月12日批准成立广西金嗓子制药厂。1998年9月18日，厂改制为广西金嗓子有限责任公司。2000年12月8日，公司荣获国家药品监督管理局颁发的药品GMP证书。2001年9月28日，广西金嗓集团注册成立。
