Changsha County Maternal and Child Health Hospital

Changsha County Maternal and Child Health Hospital is located at No. 19 Bancang Road, Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone. Founded in 1957, it is a comprehensive hospital integrating maternal and child health care with general medical services, featuring obstetrics and child health care as its specialty. It serves as the technical guidance center for maternal and child health care in Changsha County and is a designated hospital for medical insurance services in Changsha County. With the launch of the new rural cooperative medical system in Changsha County, our hospital actively participates as a designated hospital for the rural cooperative medical system.

The hospital currently has a floor area of 2,800 square meters and 70 in-service cadres and staff, including 51 professional and technical personnel: 4 with senior professional titles, 18 with intermediate titles, and 29 with junior titles. In addition, we have hired 1 chief physician and 1 associate chief physician from municipal medical institutions.

The hospital is divided into a clinical department and a health care department. The clinical department includes obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, surgery, ENT, dermatology and venereology, and medical technology sections, equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment equipment, including: multi-parameter ECG monitors, fetal heart monitors, fully automated biochemical testing equipment, 20mm AX-ray machines, B-ultrasound machines, electronic colposcopes, neonatal radiant rescue tables, etc. It can perform cesarean sections, hysterectomies, ovarian cyst removal, painless abortions, and other obstetric and gynecological surgeries as well as general surgical procedures, providing convenient, affordable, and high-quality services to the public and offering strong support for the rescue and transfer of high-risk pregnant women throughout the county. The health care department has women's health care, child health care, information monitoring, health education, and premarital health care sections. It undertakes technical guidance and training for maternal and child health care throughout the county and monitors maternal and perinatal health care through a three-tier maternal and child health care network.

Over the years, the hospital has always adhered to "taking health care as the center," strengthened the construction of the health care team and the management of the two systems in accordance with the goals of the "Two Outlines"; followed the principle of "combining health care with clinical practice," actively explored, insisted on patient-centered and quality-focused care, and provided comprehensive quality services. Our hospital has repeatedly received praise from provincial, municipal, and county health administrative departments and higher-level professional management departments, and has been awarded the municipal title of "Advanced Unit in Maternal and Child Health" for two consecutive years.
