医院重视人才培养，积极引进博士生，选拔培养学科带头人、骨干教师，重视跨世纪青年学科技术带头人培养。目前，已有20位医教师成为*及省级中青年学术和技术带头人及后备人才。每年选派医疗技术及管理人员70余人赴北美、西欧、亚太等地区留学，进行学术交流、科研合作、考察和培训，并通过国际交流与合作促进医院重点、优势学科发展及项目开展。
