南阳职业学院是经河南省人民政府和国家教育部批准设立的一所全日制普通高等院校。学院坐落在风景秀丽的西峡县城，这里依山傍水，环境优美，是着书育人的理想圣地。学院占地869.5亩，建筑面积6万余平方。根据高等职业教育结构和发展规划的要求，适应当前社会和市场发展需要，学院开设数控技术、应用化工技术、软件技术、艺术设计、旅游服务与管理等５大专业。学院招生纳入国家统一招生计划，招收高中和中职毕业生，实行三年制高职学历教育。
