Huarong Technology Co., Ltd. (formerly Huarong Group Co., Ltd.) was founded in 1987 and is located in Jiading District, Shanghai. It is a diversified enterprise led by the explosion-proof industry and now serves as an executive director unit of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association and a vice chairman unit of the China Explosion-Proof Electrical Apparatus Association, being a leading enterprise in the domestic explosion-proof electrical industry.
Huarong's Shanghai Explosion-Proof Industrial Park covers an area of 150 mu, with modern factory buildings of 160,000 square meters and a registered capital of 200 million yuan. The annual production capacity of explosion-proof electrical appliances is 2 billion yuan, ranking among the top five in the global explosion-proof industry. The technology and equipment are advanced, with key processes such as die-casting, machining, and spraying fully automated or semi-automated. The company has established a Class A laboratory recognized by national authorities and has introduced advanced testing equipment including spectrometers, distribution photometers, high and low temperature test chambers, damp heat test chambers, and salt spray test chambers, making it the largest and most well-equipped manufacturing base in the domestic industry.
The Factory Explosion-Proof Division is one of the core units under the company, consisting of departments such as Electrical Manufacturing, Lamp Manufacturing, Aluminum Shell Manufacturing, Pipe Fittings Manufacturing, Technology Development, and Quality Assurance. It specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of explosion-proof, anti-corrosion, waterproof, dustproof, and marine explosion-proof electrical appliances, capable of producing over 1,000 series and 5,000 specifications of electrical appliances and lamps.
People-oriented management is the fundamental guarantee for Huarong's sustainable development. In 1998, the company absorbed some key employees as shareholders. Since then, it has continuously promoted shareholding reform, using assets as a bond to gather a large number of technical and management elites with both moral integrity and professional competence. Currently, there are 500 engineering and technical personnel, accounting for 20% of the total employees, and over 90% of management personnel have college education or above. First, strictly adhere to national standards, with all products designed, manufactured, and inspected strictly according to GB3836 and related standards. The company actively introduces new technologies and processes, having introduced technologies from companies in Germany and the United States, developing a series of explosion-proof products with domestic advanced level. It was the first in the domestic industry to adopt the "high-temperature one-time die-casting" process, producing China's first batch of explosion-proof lamps made by die-casting, greatly improving the impact resistance of explosion-proof shells, thereby changing the outdated history of domestic explosion-proof electrical products being "clumsy, large, heavy, and rough," and writing a new chapter in the quality of Chinese explosion-proof electrical appliances.
Second, continuously improve quality management and establish a documented quality management system. In 1998, the company was among the first in the domestic industry to pass ISO9001:1994 international quality assurance system certification. In 2001, it was the first to pass the ISO9001:2000 transition certification. In 2002, the company uniquely passed the EU ATEX explosion-proof certification and the German PTB explosion-proof certification in the industry, obtaining over 200 explosion-proof certificates for factory products from testing centers. It also received the "Explosion-Proof Product Production License" issued by the National Industrial Product Production License Office with the largest number of product types in the industry. Quality has passed all inspections by the National Technical Supervision Bureau for eight consecutive years.
Currently, Huarong brand products occupy nearly one-third of the domestic explosion-proof electrical market share and are exported to the United States, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Sudan, Pakistan, and other countries and regions, basically achieving the goal of "creating a leading brand in Chinese explosion-proof electrical appliances." The company has become a designated enterprise for Sinopec Group and China Petroleum & Chemical Equipment Corporation, receiving certificates as a first-level supply network member of China National Petroleum Corporation and as a member factory of Sinopec Equipment Resources Market. Recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture as a national medium-sized enterprise, it has been elected as a vice chairman unit of the council of the China Explosion-Proof Electrical Apparatus Association and a group member of the China Electrotechnical Society. In 2008, it received honors such as Shanghai Famous Brand Product and Technology Patent Cultivation Unit. With production and sales volume leading the industry for eight consecutive years, it has become a key backbone enterprise in the domestic explosion-proof electrical industry and a pacesetter in the national defense industry.
In recent years, while consolidating its leading position in the explosion-proof industry and continuously improving the explosion-proof industry chain, the company has successively established specialized companies such as elevator companies, building materials companies, and cabinet frame companies in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Zhejiang, and other places, all achieving good economic returns and becoming new economic growth points for Huarong.
