2011年4月，新龙兴中学与乌兰察布市名校长、原丰镇市丰华中学校长尹新宇，原丰镇市丰华中学教导主任张星等人达成合作办学协议，将现有高中学制改为初中学制，并更名为新龙兴中学新丰华初中部，尹新宇校长负责学校的全部经营与管理，同时决定从2011年秋季开始招收初一年级学生。改制后的学校将本着“先育人，后教书；先立德，后求知；先修身，后为学”的教育教学宗旨，全力打造集宁区*好的初中学校。
