为了中泰化学能够健康有序发展，中泰化学在2003年和2007年先后在阜康市设立阜康市博达焦化有限责任公司和新疆中泰矿冶有限公司，主要生产焦炭和电石，从而进一步完善上游产业链，建立稳固的电石生产基地。2007年6月，为规范公司管理机制，经博达焦化2006年度股东会决议，将电石厂整体划归中泰化学，由中泰化学注资成立中泰矿冶（中泰化学先期设立的独资公司，注册资本26500万元），主营电石生产、销售。博达焦化（注册资本3000万元）是专业化生产焦炭以及煤化产品深加工的产业。
