Chongqing Airlines Co., Ltd.

Chongqing Airlines Co., Ltd. was established on June 16, 2007. It is a state-owned airline jointly funded and established by China Southern Airlines Company Limited and Chongqing City Transportation Development & Investment (Group) Co., Ltd., with its operating base at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport. In March 2017, Chongqing Airlines underwent restructuring, with Xiamen Airlines added as a shareholder. The three parties decided to build Chongqing Airlines into a flagship main base airline at Jiangbei International Airport.
After 12 years of vigorous development, the company currently has 27 aircraft and nearly 2,000 employees. Leveraging Chongqing's advantages as a strategic fulcrum of the Western Development Strategy and a connecting point between the Belt and Road Initiative and the Yangtze River Economic Belt, Chongqing Airlines actively cooperates with the strategy of building Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport into an international aviation hub, continuously expanding its fleet size and route network. In the future, Chongqing Airlines will build a comprehensive route network centered on Chongqing, covering domestic-to-plateau, domestic-to-domestic, domestic-to-international, and international-to-international routes.
