府谷金万通镁业有限责任公司创建于2003年，位于府谷县新民镇高山兰炭工业集中区。公司注册资金3.218亿元，固定资产11.5亿元。现已建成：（1）年产4万吨金属镁生产线；（2）年产90万吨兰炭生产线；（3）2×50MW发电厂；（4）2×3.15KVA硅铁生产线；（5）年产2万支还原罐生产线。年产值23亿元，利税2.8亿元。现拥有员工2600余人，其中高级管理人员8名，中级管理人员50余人。
公司创建以来连年受到各级政府和有关部门的嘉奖，先后获得安全生产先进企业、环保达标企业、国家AAA级重质量守信用企业等多项荣誉称号。2006年成为中国镁业协会理事单位。2009年7月通过了ISO9001国际质量管理体系的认证，并取得自营进出口证书。产品在满足国内需要的同时远销美国、日本、韩国、中东、欧州等地。
