Changsha University

Changsha University is a public undergraduate-level regular institution of higher education approved by the Ministry of Education. It is located in Changsha City, Hunan Province, a famous historical and cultural city in central China, by the scenic Liuyang River. The campus features lakes and hills with beautiful scenery, and it is a "garden-style" unit in Hunan Province.
The university operates under a system of joint construction and management by the province and the city, with Changsha City taking the main management role. The university covers nearly 2,000 mu, with the total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment reaching 114.23 million yuan, and the library has a collection of 1.296 million books. The university currently has over 13,000 full-time students and more than 950 faculty and staff members, including 93 with senior professional titles and 153 with doctoral degrees.
The university currently has 15 teaching departments (schools and divisions) and 43 undergraduate majors, basically forming a discipline and major layout that meets the needs of regional economic and social development in the Changsha area, with engineering as the main body, literature and management as the two wings, and coordinated development of multiple disciplines including science, engineering, literature, management, law, and art.
