舟山跨海大桥（甬舟高速公路）于2009年12月25日全线建成通车，全长约50公里，由岑港、响礁门、桃夭门、西堠门、金塘五座跨海大桥及其接线组成，其中西堠门（悬索）大桥主跨1650米、金塘（斜拉）大桥主跨620米，已获得多项科研成果，经鉴定达到*、国际先进水平的科技项目共55项，在我国建桥史上留下了光辉一页。
