宁波科学探索中心展示内容始终围绕“人·探索”为核心，分别通过对自然环境探索和对人本探索两条支线进行演绎，在注重科学知识普及的同时，激发人们对科学的探索欲望，传播科学思想、科学方法、科学精神。展馆二层分设“海洋”、“和谐家园”和“宇宙”展厅；展馆三层分设“人体与脑”、“人的技能”和“科学的乐趣”展厅。六大展厅的展品展项绝大部分为国内首次出现，极具互动性和体验性。
