大庆市第五医院伴随着大庆石化总厂的发展壮大，经历了40多年的发展历程，如今成为一所集医疗、教学、康复于一体，专业齐全，功能完备的二级甲等综合性医院。医院总建筑面积5.4万平方米，开放病床600张，现有职工923人，其中，具有高级技术职称的58人，中级技术职称的439人，卫生技术人员669人。医院拥有全身核磁扫描仪、CT扫描仪、全自动生化分析仪、血液透析机、动态心电仪等先进医疗设备423台（件）。医院承担着大庆石化及卧龙地区近20万人的医疗保健工作，年门诊量可达20多万人次。
