广西柳州中燃城市燃气发展有限公司改制前是柳州市煤气公司（自收自支事业单位），1985年成立。2006年柳州市政府通过引入合作伙伴——中国燃气集团,重组柳州市煤气公司成立中外合资企业，柳州市政府和中国燃气集团各占50％的股份。柳州中燃公司拥有柳州市城区30年管道燃气特许经营权，总资产5个亿，年销售额近2个亿。柳州中燃城市燃气发展有限公司是广西*早建成运营经营种类*为齐全及综合储配能力*的城市燃气管道公司。目前主要经营供应管道燃气（包括焦炉煤气和天然气），拥有5.4万立方米、10.8万立方米焦炉煤气储气站各1座，液化石油气混空气站2座，1000立方米液化天然气储配站1座，城市燃气管道已基本覆盖整个柳州市，拥有管道气用户17万户。
