汇德风电场目前的装机规模为99MW，共装有66台东方汽轮机公司的FD77B-1500型风机，分两期建设完成，其中：汇德一期49.5MW风电工程于2008年3月开始施工建设，2008年12月开始投产发电。考虑风电场的整体发展，在汇德一期的建设中，升压站、220KV输电线路等公用设施全部按300MW的规模进行设计和投资建设。在汇德一期建设的同时，积极筹划汇德二期49.5MW风电工程的建设准备，并于2010年初，汇德二期49.5MW风力工程全部投产发电。
