I. Company Profile
Hongtong Co., Ltd. was established in 1992 with its headquarters in Hong Kong. In the same year, Huizhou Huiyang Danshui Hongtong Electronics Factory was established in Danshui Dongmen Industrial Zone, Huiyang District, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, China. In 2000, Hongtong Electronics (Huiyang) Enterprise Co., Ltd. was established with additional capital investment. In 2006, an investment of 300 million yuan was made to build Daya Bay Hongtong Electronics Co., Ltd. in Daya Bay, Huizhou. The first phase of the project was completed and put into use in October 2008. In March 2007, Hongtong Electronics Holdings Limited was successfully listed on the Singapore Exchange, with Huizhou Huiyang Danshui Hongtong Electronics Factory and Daya Bay Hongtong Electronics Co., Ltd. as its subsidiaries. Hongtong's operating model is that of an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider, operating as a vertically integrated Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Original Design Manufacturer (ODM), offering one-stop design and production services. The group has invested heavily in new and highly efficient processing and production equipment, including various types of CNC machines, injection molding machines, metal processing equipment, printed circuit board assembly equipment, wire bonding/chip-on-board equipment, and high-speed SMT machines. The company primarily produces household electronic circuit boards, printers, telephones, GPS devices, automotive electronics, smart thermometers, smart baby monitors, digital home appliances, regulators, contactless electronic security systems, and related plastic products. These products are sold domestically or exported to Europe, America, and Southeast Asia. Hongtong has obtained internationally recognized certifications including ISO9001 (2008 version) for quality management systems, ISO14000 for environmental management, ISO13485 for electronic medical devices, TL9000 for telecommunications, and the European RoHS certification for the restriction of hazardous substances. The Hongtong Huiyang Danshui and Daya Bay production bases are currently operated by a management team of over 50 experienced professionals from Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and mainland China, leading more than 5,000 employees from various parts of China. Due to the efficient operations of the management team and grassroots staff, the company has achieved sustained double-digit business growth over the past five years.
