Greif is a leading global producer of industrial packaging products with more than 140 manufacturing located in over 40 countries to industries such as chemicals, paints pigments, food beverage, petroleum, industrial coatings, agricultural, pharmaceutical mineral among others. The Company offers a comprehensive line of industrial packaging products such as steel, fibre plastic drums, intermediate bulk container, closure systems findustrial packaging products, polycarbonate water bottle, which are complemented with a variety of value-added services. The Company also produces containerboard corrugated products fniche markets in the US Canada. The Company sells timber to third parties from its timberlin the south eastern United States that it manages to maximize long term value. The Companys customers range from Fortune 500 companies to medium small companies in a cross section of industries. Greifs dated back to 1877 made its first venture in China1993 in Ningbo (Zhejiang Province). The second manufacturing facility was established in Taicang (Jaingsu Province) in 2003. The Company is in the process of setting two more new facilities in Shanghai Huizhou (Guangdong) to strengthen its presence in China, the continent that has enormous potential to growth Greifs business.
