高淳县中医院1986年建立，是一所综合性的二级甲等中医医院。新院位于淳溪镇汶溪路287号（芜太公路），占地面积15713平方米，建筑面积18000平方米，编制床位200张。于2010年9月投入使用。设有四个病区、5个中心（急诊中心、危重病监护中心（ICU）、血液净化中心、肿瘤治疗中心，内窥镜中心），手术室可以同时开放5张手术台（含1个百级手术室），12个临床一级科室，5个医技科室，11个专病门诊，骨伤科、针灸科为*农村医疗机构特色专科建设单位，中医消化科等是南京市重点专科。
目前，医院有在岗员工236人，卫技人员190人，其中，中、高级职称86人，市名中医2人。装备了飞利浦6排螺旋CT、CR、全自动生化分析仪、彩超、C型臂机、五分类血球计数仪、震波碎石机、电子胃肠镜、血液透析机20台、肿瘤热疗仪等一批先进的医疗设备
