Main Tasks:
- Technical support on reactrelated (mainly continuous) kinetic study, processes start-up, optimization, troubleshooting debottlenecking
- Driving innovation on the cutting-edge technologies of reaction engineering
- Be responsible fcompliance with BASF EHS rules in your area of activity. Initiate drive safety review of your experiments ensure compliance in your activities according to defined measures.
- Act as reaction engineering expert to support our plants business units in Asia Pacific foptimization, debottlenecking troubleshooting of BASF processes, with technical approaches including but not limiting root cause analysis, modeling, lab experiment, production implementation, etc.
- Define, initiate, independently drive research projects to further improve our know-how in reaction engineering. Your expertise results are expected to be highly relevant to BASF’s strategy, business production.
- Strengthen maintain the competency fReaction Engineering Team.
- Join the expert network within BASF global research community, operational units, technologies, scientific partners to maintain state-of-the-art expertise as well as monitnew practices market trends
Requirements:
- Education: Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering (Reaction Engineering preferred)
- Working Experience: 3-5 industrial related working experience is necessary
- Education background is with chemical process engineering, other related engineering discipline.
- Comprehensive deep understanding of reaction engineering enhanced transfer techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), process modeling, simulation—particularly in reactsystems—is highly desirable.
- Programming proficiency with commercial software, like Matlab, gProms, python, other equivalents are plus.
- Knowledge experience in process scale up development, production processes, complex technical reactoperation sustainable solution are plus
- Language skills: English Chinese proficient

Duties & Responsibilities

To Apply you need to behave:
• A bachelor’s degree Graduate (B.A., BBA, B. Com) with minimum 6-8 year’s work experience required in the corporate environment.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience needed on people management level.
