XCMG Chongqing Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. is a limited liability company controlled by XCMG Technology, covering an area of 500 mu, with a total investment of 500 million yuan (RMB), of which the first-phase investment is 210 million yuan. The project began construction in September 2006 and was officially put into operation on June 6, 2007, with an annual production capacity of 5,000 loaders and other earthmoving construction machinery products. After three years of production and operation adjustments, it is expected that in 2010 the Chongqing company will produce 1,400 loaders and achieve sales revenue of 396 million yuan from various products. At present, the second-phase technical transformation project with an investment of 76.51 million yuan has been fully launched, including the construction of new single employee dormitories. It is expected that the main projects will be completed in March 2011. After completion, it is expected that in 2011 the Chongqing company will produce 3,000 loaders, and will then continue to invest and expand scale, aiming to reach an annual production capacity of 10,000 units in the 12th Five-Year Plan.
