Chongqing Brewery Co., Ltd. was approved by Document Yu Gai Wei [1993] No. 109 of the Chongqing Municipal Economic System Reform Commission, with Chongqing Brewery Group Co., Ltd. as the sole promoter to restructure the Chongqing Brewery, and was established as a joint-stock company through directional fundraising.
Approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the company issued 40 million RMB ordinary shares in October 1997 and was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in the same month.
