Chongqing Urban Investment Road and Bridge Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Urban Investment Road and Bridge Company) is a wholly state-owned company officially established in July 2002 with the approval of the Chongqing Municipal Government. The company is affiliated with Chongqing Urban Construction Investment (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Municipal Urban Investment Group). It manages assets of approximately 40 billion yuan, has more than 200 employees, and has 17 management departments (divisions). It is currently mainly responsible for the maintenance and management of 11 super-large urban cross-river bridges in the main city, including Caiyuanba Yangtze River Bridge, Chaotianmen Yangtze River Bridge, Yangtze River Bridge Double-Line Bridge, Jialing River Huanghuayuan Bridge, and Jialing River Bridge, as well as 3 tunnels including Shihuang Tunnel, Nancheng Tunnel, and Shuangbei Tunnel. It also supervises and regulates 580 kilometers of roads in the nine core districts of the main city and the Inner Ring Expressway.
