江苏省（沙钢）钢铁研究院是经江苏省政府批准，以江苏沙钢集团为依托建设的省重点研发机构。
沙钢集团是中国目前*大的民营钢铁联合企业。2010年完成钢产量3012万吨，销售收入1786亿元。在2010年世界500强中名列第415位，中国企业500强中名列第40位，中国制造业500强中名列第12位，全国民企中名列第1位。
研究院的目标是采用先进工艺研究开发先进钢铁材料，成为"*、*"的钢铁研究机构。
研究院现有一部、一场和十二个研究室，为了将研究院建设成为规模性的世界先进钢铁研发机构，我们诚挚邀请来自世界各地的优秀人才的加盟。
