CECEP Wind-Power Corporation (stock abbreviation: CECEP Wind Power; stock code: 601016) is a modern joint-stock company controlled by China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group. The company was listed on the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange on September 29, 2014. It is a listed company in the domestic capital market with wind power operation as its main business and is a constituent of the CSI 300 Index. The company's predecessor, CECEP Wind Power Investment Co., Ltd., was a specialized company established by China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group in response to the national call to build a "resource-saving and environment-friendly" society, to accelerate the development of renewable energy such as wind power and to serve the Group's core business development strategic goals, engaging in wind power project development, investment management, construction, and operation and maintenance. The company has 31 wholly-owned and controlled subsidiaries and 1 associate company, with a installed capacity scale of more than 3 million kilowatts for completed and under-construction projects. It has developed into one of the wind power developers in the Zhangbei Bashang area and the Gansu Hexi Corridor area, and is an important force in China's wind power sector. The company has a wind resource reserve of more than 20 million kilowatts and has completed an onshore layout with Zhangbei in Hebei, Jiuquan in Gansu, and Tuoli in Xinjiang as bases, with western Inner Mongolia, eastern Inner Mongolia, and Qinghai as supporting points, and with Wufeng in Hubei, Bobai in Guangxi, Shengzhou in Zhejiang, Jiange in Sichuan, Weishi in Henan, and Dingbian in Shaanxi as vanguard locations, as well as an offshore layout in two areas, Yangjiang in Guangdong and Laoting in Tangshan, north and south. It has also built the Australian White Rock Wind Farm project, achieving a breakthrough in overseas markets, enabling the company to gradually develop into a specialized wind power company with a comprehensive domestic and international layout.
