Shanghai Shangzi Engineering Cost Consulting Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shangzi Cost Consulting") began to provide consulting services to the government and society as the cost consulting department of Shanghai Investment Consulting Corporation in 1986; in 2001, in accordance with the requirements of relevant national documents, it was decoupled and restructured, and "Shangzi Cost Consulting" was established — a professional subsidiary under Shanghai Investment Consulting Corporation (Shangzi Group).

Qualifications:
The company obtained the Grade A cost consulting qualification certificate issued by the Ministry of Construction in 1997 (the first batch).
In recent years, through bidding competition, the company has successively obtained the following qualifications: shortlisted unit for Shanghai rail transit project audit determined by Shanghai Shentong Company; designated service unit for project cost consulting of fiscal construction projects in Baoshan District, Minhang District, Jing'an District, Zhabei District, Huangpu District, former Nanhui District, Jinshan District, Changning District, Jiading District, Pudong New Area, and Putuo District of Shanghai; shortlisted unit for project cost consulting of Shanghai Urban Construction Investment and Development General Company; candidate unit for the social intermediary agency database for national construction project audit in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province;

The Chongqing Branch was established in June 2013. It has currently entered or filed with the following Chongqing municipal government commissions, offices, bureaus, and group companies: Liangjiang New Area Audit Bureau, Construction Bureau, and Trading Center database; Audit Department and Construction Management Department of Real Estate Group; Municipal Urban Management Bureau, Yuelai Investment Group, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Group, Light Textile Group, Chongqing Communications Development and Investment Group, Gaoke Group, Grain Group, Bonded Port Area Development and Management Group, Liangjiang Real Estate, Longfor Properties, China Merchants Shekou, Chongqing OCT, China Communications Real Estate, Xinda Real Estate, Dongyuan Real Estate, Chuanqing Chemical, Xinhua Chemical, etc.;
