ECUST Press

East China University of Science and Technology Press is a comprehensive university press hosted by East China University of Science and Technology and supervised by the Ministry of Education. Since its establishment in 1986, it has always upheld the profound academic tradition of ECUST, pursuing innovation and excellence. We are committed to disseminating knowledge, inheriting culture, and conveying dreams, adhering to the publishing philosophy of "Building the press on academics, illuminating the way with wisdom, creating fine works, and benefiting scholars." This has formed a publishing pattern that balances academic orientation and market orientation, featuring a publishing specialty centered on foreign languages, basic education, Disney, energy and environment (chemistry and chemical engineering), and social work and social governance. We are actively transforming towards a multi-media publishing pattern, striving to become a high-quality service provider in the field of education. ECUST Press is highly praised in the publishing industry. Over the past decade, we have won numerous important awards for our outstanding publishing achievements, including the China Book Award, the Shanghai Book Award, and the Shanghai Printing Grand Award, with more than 300 kinds of award-winning books. Meanwhile, we have successfully obtained funding support for more than 80 projects, covering the National Publication Fund, the Shanghai Press and Publication Special Fund, the Shanghai Cultural Development Fund, and the Shanghai Cultural and Creative Fund. In the social benefit evaluation and assessment of book publishing units by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, our press has consistently achieved an evaluation grade of "Excellent" for five consecutive years since 2019.
