Qingjian

Qingjian Group Co., Ltd. (formerly Qingdao Construction Group Company) was established in 1952. Its business scope covers general contracting of housing construction engineering, real estate development and management, international economic and technological cooperation, building decoration, industrial investment, steel structure engineering, construction machinery leasing, design and research, engineering consulting, property services, etc., with a registered capital of RMB 300 million.
Since 1983, Qingjian has expanded overseas, with markets spanning more than 30 countries and regions in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Oceania, and has established over 40 branches in more than ten domestic provinces and cities and over 20 overseas countries.
Qingjian is advanced in management. It has been listed among China's Top 500 Enterprises for seven consecutive years; ranked eighth among Qingdao's Top 100 Enterprises; selected as one of the "ENR Top 250 International Contractors" for three consecutive years; in 2005, it won the "National Quality Management Award" (the third construction enterprise in China to receive this award). In recent years, the company has received more than 100 provincial-level and above honors, including "National Excellent Construction Enterprise" and "National Customer Satisfaction Enterprise."
Qingjian has a good credit reputation. It is a national contract-honoring and credit-keeping enterprise; an AAA credit rating enterprise in Shandong Province; one of the first batch of "China Credit Demonstration Units" designated by the Ministry of Commerce; an AAA-grade foreign contracting engineering enterprise and AAA-grade foreign labor cooperation enterprise of the China International Contractors Association; and an AAA-grade credit rating enterprise for many banks, including China Construction Bank and Agricultural Bank of China.
Qingjian has a strong human resources base. It has nearly 20 experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council and engineering technology application researchers; more than 40% of the company's personnel hold intermediate or senior professional titles, and over 70% hold bachelor's degrees or above.
Qingjian takes the lead in technology. It is the first construction enterprise in Shandong Province to establish a provincial-level technology center; in 2003, it established a post-doctoral scientific research workstation; more than 200 scientific research achievements have won provincial or ministerial awards, and 15 technologies have reached an advanced level.
In terms of engineering contracting, Qingjian has undertaken the construction of a large number of landmark buildings and key projects, including Olympic venues, airports, convention and exhibition centers, and grand theaters. It has won 11 "Luban Prizes," the highest award in China's construction industry, and more than 200 provincial and ministerial engineering awards. In real estate, Qingjian has developed commercial and residential properties in more than ten domestic cities, including Qingdao, Jinan, Beijing, and Shenyang, as well as overseas countries such as Singapore. Many projects have received honors such as "China Famous Real Estate," "China Top Ten Commercial Real Estate," and "National Model Residential Project."
Qingjian actively undertakes social responsibilities and enthusiastically participates in public welfare undertakings. In 2007, the company's turnover was RMB 11.1 billion, creating 55,000 jobs for society.
