Shanghai Liming Resource Recycling Co., Ltd.

Shanghai Liming Resource Recycling Co., Ltd. was established in March 2011, wholly invested by Shanghai Pudong Environmental Protection Development Co., Ltd., and is mainly responsible for the investment, construction, and operation management of the Shanghai Liming Resource Recycling Center project. As a major livelihood project of Pudong New Area, the Shanghai Liming Resource Recycling Center will build a waste-to-energy plant of "*... international first-class" standard. The project is located on the northwest side of the Liming Emergency Landfill Area in Caolu Town, Pudong New Area, covering an area of approximately 141 mu, with a total construction investment of 1.216 billion yuan. The construction scale is 2,000 tons/day of domestic waste incineration (4×500 tons/day), with an annual processing capacity of 666,700 tons and an annual power generation of approximately 2.16×10^8 kWh. The flue gas treatment meets or exceeds the EU 2000 emission standards. The architectural design of the project is modern museum-style, fully highlighting the design concept of "simple and smooth facade, interactive process display, closed management for pollution control, and green building for environmental protection." The project was approved in December 2010, passed the environmental impact assessment in August 2011, officially started construction in March 2012, and entered commercial operation in August 2014. After completion, the project has greatly alleviated the environmental pollution problems troubling residents of Caolu Town in Pudong New Area, improved the surrounding environment, enhanced the level of waste reduction, resource utilization, and harmless treatment of domestic waste in Pudong New Area, and ensured sustainable environmental development.
