福建煤电股份有限公司是由龙福建省龙岩矿务局、永定矿务局、苏邦煤矿改制而成，为省属国有重点企业，下属15对生产矿井、叁家矿区医院及其他10多个直属单位，现有员工近万人，公司有一支比较雄厚的专业技术队伍,高中级专业技术人才400多人，年产值十多个亿，上缴利税在龙岩市排前5名。公司先后被授予“‘九五’全国煤炭文化工作先进单位”、“省级文明单位”、“省五一劳动奖状”、“省思想政治工作优秀企业”等一系列荣誉称号，今年4月份又被中华全国总工会授予“全国五一劳动奖状”荣誉称号。
