Shanghai Donghu Machinery Factory

Shanghai Donghu Machinery Factory (4805 Ordnance Factory) is an equipment support enterprise and a high-tech enterprise. The factory is affiliated with the Naval Equipment Department and mainly undertakes naval repair and manufacturing tasks.
Over years of production development, the factory has continuously explored and practiced, moving from excellence to superiority, forming a comprehensive maintenance support capability of "multi-variety, small-batch, combining repair, research, development, modification, and education." Its equipment repair and manufacturing technology and quality have reached the domestic advanced level, and its market share in equipment maintenance is leading. It is also the only enterprise among naval enterprise factories with the capability to manufacture naval guns, playing a significant support role in construction.
The factory is located in Baoshan District, Shanghai, covering an area of 130,000 square meters, with a plant building area of 84,000 square meters. The factory area is shaded by trees, with pavilions, terraces, and small bridges over flowing water, earning it the reputation of a garden factory. The factory currently employs over 800 workers, including more than 100 engineering and technical personnel.
The factory is included in the "Directory of Units of the General Equipment Department" and has passed the integrated certification of quality, environment, and occupational health and safety management systems. It has been rated as a Shanghai Civilized Unit for nine consecutive terms and has received an "A" rating in the naval enterprise performance assessment nine times. In recent years, it has successively won awards such as the "National Quality Award," "Equipment Repair Factory Quality Award," "Tenth National Outstanding Unit for Equipment Management," "Shanghai May Day Labor Award," and "Harmonious Enterprise."
