Chongqing Yubaijia Supermarket Chain Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chongqing Grain Group. Chongqing Grain Group is a large state-owned grain enterprise group funded by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and formed through asset restructuring and integration of more than 370 state-owned grain enterprises across the city. It was officially inaugurated on February 26, 2008. It is a leading grain industrialization enterprise in the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze River, integrating grain purchase and sales, warehousing, logistics and processing, real estate operations, domestic and overseas base construction, and investment and trade.
The company has a registered capital of 50 million yuan. As of the end of July 2014, it had nearly 90 supermarkets and community convenience stores, an operating area of 23,000 square meters, sales revenue of nearly 100 million yuan, and employed more than 300 people from the community.
