Chongqing Suning Yigou

Suning was founded in 1990 and has two listed companies in China and Japan. It is a leading commercial enterprise. In 2018, Suning Holdings Group ranked second among the top 500 private enterprises in China with a scale of nearly 557.9 billion yuan. Adhering to the corporate mission of "leading the industrial ecology and creating a quality life", Suning has continuously expanded its industrial operations, forming a coordinated development pattern of eight major industry sectors: Suning Yigou, Suning Logistics, Suning Finance, Suning Technology, Suning Real Estate, Suning Culture & Media, Suning Sports, and Suning Investment. Among them, Suning Yigou was among the first to be listed in the Fortune Global 500. Suning entered Chongqing in 2002. After sixteen years of development, it has expanded from a single electrical appliance business to include supermarkets, mother and baby products, department stores, cosmetics, home decoration and building materials, achieving basically full regional coverage. It has 68 chain stores (including 4 under the jurisdiction of Dazhou Company). Suning's cumulative investment in Chongqing has reached 8 billion yuan. Since its entry into Chongqing, all industries have paid nearly one billion yuan in taxes cumulatively and provided employment for nearly 8,000 people. In 2015, the sales (loan scale) of all industries increased by 56.8% year-on-year. In 2015, the retail sales scale reached nearly 5.5 billion yuan, an increase of 20.06% year-on-year, of which online sales increased by 105% year-on-year. In the first half of 2016, retail sales reached 3 billion yuan, of which online sales increased by 20% year-on-year.
