Wuhan Mingshi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") was established in December 2005 with a registered capital of 7.5 million yuan. After years of self-accumulation and the introduction of institutional investors such as venture capital, the Company's registered capital has reached 44.3 million yuan, with more than 200 employees. The Company has two wholly-owned subsidiaries: Wuhan Mingshi Biomedicine Technology Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Huazhen Technology Co., Ltd. The Company is a national high-tech enterprise and a famous trademark enterprise in Hubei Province, having obtained 10 national invention patents with fully independent intellectual property rights and more than 50 registered trademarks of various types..
With the social mission of "Caring for public health, creating a happy life", the Company is committed to the research, development and application of the large health industry including biotechnology, Chinese and Western new drugs, health products and medical devices, and attaches importance to the accumulation of independent intellectual property rights. The Company has passed GMP production certification for drugs, health foods and medical device products. 13 products have obtained health food registration approvals issued by the State Food and Drug Administration, 4 products have obtained medical device registration approvals issued by the Hubei Provincial and Wuhan Municipal Food and Drug Administrations, and 3 products have obtained drug registration approvals issued by the State Food and Drug Administration. The declared national new drug product, Xinluotong Tablets, a Class 6 traditional Chinese medicine new drug, has completed Phase II and Phase III clinical trials. In August 2009, the State Food and Drug Administration accepted the drug production registration of this product (CXZS0900035 E), and it has now passed the on-site verification of clinical research. After supplementing part of the clinical research, it is expected to obtain national new drug registration.
Multiple projects of the Company have received funding from national, provincial and municipal innovation funds and science and technology research programs. Among them, the project "Development and Research of Xinluotong Tablets" received support from the Technology Innovation Fund for Small and Medium-sized Technology-based Enterprises of the Ministry of Science and Technology (Project Code: 09C26214214853), and the project "Research and Development and Industrialization of Large Health Pharmaceutical Products" was included in Wuhan's high-tech industry development projects and special fund projects for industrial investment and technological transformation.
Through the construction of the "Research and Development and Industrialization of Large Health Pharmaceutical Products" project, the Company has improved its large health production, sales and research system. The Company currently has about 60 mu of land, office buildings and workshops for traditional Chinese medicine extraction and traditional Chinese medicine preparation totaling 18,000 square meters, and more than 150 sets of medium and high-end traditional Chinese medicine research and production equipment. It has an annual production capacity of 450,000 pieces (sets) of various traditional Chinese medicine preparations, health medical products and medical device products, and 200 tons of traditional Chinese medicine extracts.
