GAC Toyota Engine Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as GTE) is a joint venture invested by Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd., Toyota Motor Corporation, and Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. The joint venture was established on February 24, 2004. Located in the center of the Pearl River Delta - Guangzhou Nansha Development Zone, the company has a registered capital of 1.1 billion yuan, covers an area of 300,000 square meters, with a first-phase building area of 39,000 square meters. It mainly produces Toyota's AZ, AR, and NR series engines, which are exported overseas and also provide supporting supply for the all-new Camry series vehicles produced by Guangzhou Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. The company is located in the *economic and technological development zone - Guangzhou Nansha Development Zone, which is the geometric center of the Pearl River Delta. It is only an hour's drive to Hong Kong, Macau, Zhuhai, etc., with convenient transportation, and is an important logistics port and strategic development focus for Guangzhou in the future. GAC Toyota Engine Co., Ltd. is China's first automobile engine project targeting overseas markets, which will improve the manufacturing level of automobile engines in Guangzhou City and Guangdong Province, and play a positive role in promoting China's automobile manufacturing and automobile product exports.
