Shanghai Trust

Shanghai International Trust Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Trust" or "the Company") was established in 1981 and is one of the earliest trust companies in China. It is a major member of Shanghai International Group Co., Ltd. The Company was re-registered with the approval of the People's Bank of China in 2001, and in 2007, in accordance with the new trust regulations, it was reissued a new financial license with the approval of the China Banking Regulatory Commission. The Company currently has 13 shareholders and a registered capital of RMB 2.5 billion. Shanghai Trust has consistently ranked at the forefront of the industry in terms of comprehensive strength and management standards, with an excellent brand reputation, robust risk control mechanisms, and substantial investment returns. The Company has been designated as the first compliance pilot unit among non-bank financial institutions; it has been elected as a council member and vice-chairman unit of the China Trust Industry Association, and the chairman unit of the Trust Branch of the Chinese Accounting Society; as a major preparatory entity, it initiated the establishment of China's first trust registration institution - the Shanghai Trust Registration Center, and was elected as the chairman unit. The Company has successively won multiple industry awards selected by authoritative media such as Shanghai Securities News, Securities Times, and 21st Century Business Herald; its "Ruby" Secure and Aggressive Umbrella Allocation Trust Plan won the "2010 Shanghai Financial Innovation Award Second Prize" first awarded by the Shanghai Municipal Government; the Company's independently developed next-generation trust business management system, covering all businesses, all processes, and full-process risk management, won the "Shanghai Financial Innovation Award Third Prize"; the Company's Wealth Center was awarded the title of Five-Star "Quality Service Network" in the Shanghai financial system, receiving widespread acclaim both within and outside the industry.
