The Architectural Design and Research Institute of the General Logistics Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army was established in 1953 and is among the first batch of national industry backbone survey and design double Class-A units. It currently holds Class-A national architectural design, Class-A engineering cost consulting, Class-A engineering consulting unit qualification certificate, Class-A construction drawing design document review license, and Grade-II building decoration engineering construction, among other design and construction qualifications. In 2001, it passed ISO9001 quality certification, becoming the first survey and design unit in the military to pass standard implementation certification. It is located at No. 22 Taiping Road, Haidian District, Beijing.
