《青年报》创刊于1949年6月10日，作为共青团上海市委机关报，近年来，青年报社以“建设听党指挥、青年喜欢、特色鲜明的新型融媒体平台”为目标，深化媒体融合和创新发展，加快推进团属新型融媒体平台、青少年政治引领平台、青少年素质拓展平台、青少年文化产品和服务平台的建设。报社新媒体服务人数突破1000万，初步形成“青春上海News”即时新闻播报+“青春上海两微”重点内容整合传播+短视频产品网上传播+《青年报》纸媒呈现的多层面传播格局，“青年报·青春上海”的传播力、引导力、影响力和公信力持续提升。
