Shanghai Shenrail Jieneng Information Technology Co., Ltd. is affiliated with the Information Technology Institute of China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd., and is responsible for the operation and maintenance, technical support, and repair of passenger transport equipment and facilities in all passenger stations under its jurisdiction. It is committed to the intelligent, standardized, normalized, professional, and market-oriented operation and maintenance of high-speed railway station equipment and facilities.
The company's business scope currently covers 25 high-speed railway lines in the 'three provinces and one city' of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui (including the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway, Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway, Shanghai-Hangzhou Intercity Railway, Coastal Railway, Nanjing-Hangzhou High-Speed Railway, Hangzhou-Ningbo High-Speed Railway, Hefei-Nanjing Passenger Dedicated Line, Hefei-Wuhan Passenger Dedicated Line, Hefei-Bengbu Passenger Dedicated Line, Jinshan Branch Line, Hangzhou-Changsha High-Speed Railway, Hefei-Fuzhou High-Speed Railway, Jinwen Railway, Ning'an Passenger Dedicated Line, Ningqi Railway, Zhengzhou-Xuzhou High-Speed Railway), and 246 stations (including the road bureau's passenger dedicated line dispatching building), involving more than 1 million pieces of equipment and facilities in systems such as ticket sales and checking, passenger guidance, elevators, fire protection, HVAC, electric power, building control, and water supply and drainage.
The company has five maintenance departments (workshops) in Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Hefei, and Xuzhou, with a total of 45 work areas. It currently has more than 2,700 employees, with an average age of 28, and 80% of employees have a college degree or above.
