Chongqing Pingyi Grain and Oil Co., Ltd. was established in 2005 (its predecessor was Chongqing Jiangbei District Yuxiang Sesame Oil Food Factory, founded in 1999). The company is currently located in Fengyang Sixth Community, Linshi Town, Fuling District, Chongqing, covering an area of about 10,000 square meters. The company's brands mainly include series products such as "Yuliang", "Cixiang", and "Shuxiangyuan". The "Yuliang" brand was awarded the honorary title of "Top 50 Chongqing Famous and Special Foods" in 2013, was rated as a "Chongqing Famous Trademark" in 2016, and was rated as a "Chongqing Time-honored Brand" in 2017. Since settling in Fuling District and starting production in August 2012, it has added one six-head fully automatic filling and labeling production line and one flexible packaging production line, forming an annual production scale of 4,000 tons. In 2014, the factory was renovated and expanded and technological transformation was carried out, introducing dust-free and sterile production lines and fully automatic packaging lines, and building a canned sesame oil production line with an annual output of 6,000 tons, with 18 new sets of equipment. In order to accelerate development and meet market demand, in 2015 a new bottled filling production line was added. In order to continuously expand the scale of production and operation, in 2016 it signed a contract with Chongqing Hot Pot Industry Group to become a dedicated oil supply base for Chongqing Hot Pot Group. In 2017, it began investing in the expansion of new seasoning and hot pot base workshops, continuously updating product production lines and product categories, and adding more than 10 sets of seasoning equipment. While developing physically, the company has also focused on excavating the fine traditions and technologies of the oil industry. In 2018, the company began to restore the traditional technique of "ancient method oil pressing", which was unanimously recognized by relevant leaders. In January 2020, it was included in the intangible cultural heritage protection list by the district government. In 2019, a fully automatic plastic canning production line was added. At the same time, in order to expand production scale, the company increased investment, expanded production workshops, and built a modern production base with a total area of nearly 10,000 square meters.
