北京高等珠宝研修学院（Beijing Institute of Gemology简称BIG）的前身是国检珠宝培训中心（National Gemological Training Centre，简称NGTC），是经北京市教委正式批准成立的一所在在中国珠宝玉石行业中是具有综合性、专业技术性强的职业研修学府。本学院一直致力于珠宝职业教育和国家珠宝玉石标准的推广及普及工作，师资力量雄厚，由钻石、玉石、彩色宝石、首饰设计、营销管理、珠宝评估、首饰制作、营销空间设计等的领域专家、教授任教，每年开设100余班，并拥有先进的教学仪器设备和实践场地。学院同时与美国宝石学院（GIA）、比利时钻石高层议会（HRD）、英国宝石协会实验室（Gem-A）有着较为密切的合作关系。
