Guangzhou Xincheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xincheng Bio) is an innovative private R&D institution focusing on advanced medical and health technologies, delivering high-tech R&D achievements and projects to the medical device industry. Xincheng Bio's R&D is market-oriented, and based on its own R&D and innovation capabilities, it organizes collaboration among industry, academia, research, medical, and capital, establishing an efficient resource integration and collaboration mechanism. Xincheng Bio has currently established a core technology solution R&D center and a pilot-scale, pilot-scale, and incubation base (including GMP workshops) covering 2,000 square meters in Guangzhou International Bio Island, a leading biological industry R&D and pilot base in China. Relying on Sun Yat-sen University, Xincheng Bio has built a solid and innovative management and R&D team, with R&D personnel accounting for 75% of the total workforce, and over 60% of the R&D team holding doctoral or master's degrees.
Xincheng Bio has formed high-tech industrial incubation collaborations with three leading enterprises in medical device sub-sectors in China (equity cooperation on sub-projects); two self-developed high-tech achievements have entered the incubation stage (controlling projects); the company has undertaken and participated in more than 16 government high-tech research and achievement transformation projects (of which 8 are provincial or municipal key projects), and has applied for 101 patents (including 35 invention patents).
Xincheng Bio's main businesses include:
1) Undertaking high-tech research and achievement transformation in medical and health projects;
2) Providing R&D services for frontier medical technologies to enterprises, and intervening in high-tech industrial incubation through technology equity investment;
3) Independent R&D of high-tech products and incubation of high-tech projects. The projects in reserve, R&D, and incubation include: absorbable polymer implant materials and devices, animal-derived implantable regenerative materials, overall solutions for in-vitro diagnostic sample collection and storage, intelligent wound management systems, and 3D-printed artificial organs.
